Boyd Yancey Park, formerly Horsey Park, is located on East 2nd North near 5th West. The park was renamed in 2008 to honor former councilman and mayor Boyd Yancey. It features a shelter, picnic tables, a large concrete surface for street hockey, skating, bicycling, and basketball. Many large trees border the park providing lots of shade.
